Our Latest Obsession: The Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment

At SUN 21, we’re lip product fanatics, meaning if we haven’t tried it yet, we’re bound to eventually. Few products slip by us without at least a day's worth of testing. Rhode’s Peptide Lip Treatment is one product that went through our testing process and hasn’t yet left the routine. It’s just that good. 

The lip treatment comes in three scents: Rhode Vanilla, Watermelon Slice, and Salted Caramel. They also offer an unscented version for those with more particular preferences. 

After testing out Rhode Vanilla and Watermelon Slice for several weeks, we’ve concluded that the hydration is there, the shine is unmatched, and the scent sure isn’t messing around. If you’re looking for a flavorful, clear gloss/balm hybrid with a touch of nostalgia, then this product is for you. Watermelon Slice is our personal favorite, as it’s fruity, light, and perfect for the summertime. At $16 for 0.3oz Rhode falls at about the midrange price for a lip balm and in our opinion you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. 

Rhode was created by celeb Hailey Bieber, but don’t write them off as just another celebrity beauty brand. Their products have so far proven to be high quality and formulated intentionally, which is right up our alley. Their values (as listed on their website) include simplicity, affordability, authenticity, quality, and transparency, which is huge in a market saturated with celebrity beauty brands. They definitely stand out because of these values, but it helps that their packaging is gorgeous too.
